The Job Auction Expo is a national "Auction-Style" Career Expo designed to help displaced homemakers and single moms line-up interviews in a fast, fun and easy way.
This one-day career expo allow employers to post open jobs up for bid and displaced women to bid on jobs by "pitching" their "un-paid labor" skills and employable assets to recruiters and hiring managers for the chance to WIN interviews.

early morning networking event that help attendees kick-start their job auction success. In addition to enjoying coffee, networking, and practicing their pitch with professional peers, Barbara Bamba, Founder & Chief Organizer kicks-off the day with a "Crisis Conquering Keynote" for career seekers.
Meet The Job Auctioneer - is a 30-Minute Mock Job Auction Seminar that is held a half hour prior to the start of pitching. In this special practice session employers and participants get the chance to meet the job auctioneer who will acquaint them with the process and pace of the pitching.
The Perfect Candidate Contest - is the ultimate on-the-spot interview challenge that is held at the end of The Job Auction Expo. Inspired by the 2008 Presidential Candidate Debates, (2) displaced homemakers will be selected to face-off in a 1-hour, on-the-spot interview, to debate and pitch their "un-paid labor" skills and assets to a panel of employers before a live audience of professional peers for the chance to "WIN" a job!
